sounds like some people have some expectations that are higher than what is being provided and are more than willing to promote their view publicly. so, instead of bioching, why not step up and bid/host the next nats?

IMO - track looks great. wish i was lucky enough to have something like that locally.

I've put on a big race or two, and been to a few as well. I've noticed that alot of the time, some of the "big names" don't want extremely technical tracks. They say that extremely technical tracks don't lend themselves well to "good close racing".

I'll be running TC at Platinum. My Rev. 4 went to CT. as back up electronics for Pulfer. So I'm left with only the Pro Fo.

Whats up tim adam is comming down for the losi race I probobly hang out with him!
Are you doing any of that off road stuff also?
I was asked to go down to that race as a wrench. By the same person that Adam is going with. Naw, no off road for me. Not even if I just have to sit there and watch. It doesn't interest me as much as on road. By no means am I saying that onroad drivers are better. Just a preference for me. I wanted to clarify that before I got flamed.

Talk to ya later bud,

Tim

Just judging by the few pictures I've seen, and owning close to a million square feet of commercial property, I can tell you that it looks like a top notch facility. A hobby shop and track is not a high income prospect. Rent is based on square foot price, when you have a big open track with races everynight that have only 20 entries on average, your race fee does not cover the costs to open, then on top of that, most of you buy online and cut out the LHS. Those who race weekends and pay their 10 bucks to race have no clue how much it costs to cover the monthly nut, electricity, water and putting food on the table for wifey and the kids. You just cannot go out, by 10 acres, put up a 20000 square foot building with no poles and paint everything with pretty colors and expect to make your money back. It take alot of money and balls to build a place and I hate to tell you guys, all that are complaining, get a clue and be thankful you have a place to race. Otherwise like somebody else wrote, build one yourself and see. I know I babbled, but I am sick of people crying over spilt milk here, but the intelligent people have a clue and are thankful, the others...well we willl just let Darwin weed them out.
