Yea, he was all over the place at the Novak too. Go Mike!

As long as someone is doing something, then we're moving in the right direction. Sooner or later a majority of track owners will get it together and get results to the masses... or so I hope.

I am SO glad to see Ferggie in the show!!! He truly deserves to do well. He's a great guy, great track owner and great promoter along with being a barrel of laughs to hang out with.

Chicky and Mark looking good too! Although Chicky has the dang r/c midas touch- everything he does turns to gold trophies...

Xray guys give 'em hell tomorrow!!

Oh, how bout Furman? The man has got skillz!! One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, too.

That is very very sad to hear. I hate the thought of parents/kids being rejected from watching a simple race. That act alone might have soured them to the whole hobby!

Even if this is a fire hazzard/building permit issue, then ROAR should have never awarded a NATIONAL event to such a place.

huskerfreak - three words : HOOK IT UP

As for this event, it looks bad from my end. I'm not there, but it looks as if there is a general lack of experience/organization. Every big event has problems, but a lot of it is in how they are handled.

That being said, it seems like it would be worthwhile if ROAR added an entry to the guidlines for hosting the nationals pertaining to experience.

Why not ask for the large events they have hosted in the past? Along with sponsored/factory drivers who attended...they could be called upon to help by relating their experiences with the facilities.

That and the size of the electrical service to the building. I mean houses get 200 amps these days...

It's nice to see a good mix of manufactures in the mains. This is what off-road needs.

well we should have the main listings soon they have to rerun a heat of masters which only has one heat and they would post the mains for that. so I'll see what I can find from trackside.

as far as ROAR what a joke! you pay for a membership so you could be heard.... and they don't listen. O well I hope no one renew their membership this year. we have the book who cares from now on. if brushless are legal why not 3700's for the people using regular mods?

as far as Hobby Chanbers? oh well
is not like the carpet is staying there, is going to be removed for the summer time. when is time to lay it back down put that side towards the wall.

Hey guys If you guys want a track that spectators are welcome, that has more elbow room, races are ran profecionally and women don't have to use mens bathroom.
come to www.southshorehobby.com (carpet is getting changed)
hope to see all of the drivers assisting at Hobby Chambers this week end at our track at the begining of the season.
Hey I am I heading there now.

As far as I am aware, the carpet is going to stay in place.

South Shore does have a very nice facility.

Glad that after 4 rounds of qualifying we don't know who TQed each class officially.

Rich........ ROAR has a Nationals Guidelines rule book specifically for the tracks hosting a National. Not sure the details it goes into but apparently not enough detail.

I understand that ROAR provides rules and guidelines for a track, but to say that it is out of ROAR's hands is nuts. I thought a ROAR rep or even the President attended these races to help with things. The tracks that host these races represent ROAR at these races and should provide a solid race and a good show. I know not every race goes off without a hitch so things happen.

David Lee is the Designated Offical at this event.
