No the bulkhead is actually pulled backward, not downward.

Yes, is what i mean.

That's mean we can't use the upper deck of other makes, since the bulkhead is backward in case i need to remove those 4 screws from upper deck then install a post between upper and lower deck.

I'm confused. My understanding was any of the parts were interchangeable with stock stuff.

This is incorrect.

The layshafts are in the same spot relative to the rear. The front bulkhead is back. .75mm to change the frontdriveshaft angle and give more on power steering.

The only part you are bound to is the RX4 top deck.

So the chassis and top deck are a matched set, correct? You cannot use an RX4 top deck with a stock chassis and vise versa?

Correct.

They can also be purchased separately if need be, via email.

Got it. Mine is arriving today except for suspension mounts. I was told they were on backorder and would be about a week behind.

That means the front belt will be loose?

Anyway
Sorry for 1 more question.

That means could use Spec-r Alu. Motor Mount Support w/ Graphite Upper Deck even Smokem's 1 on RX4 V2 or not?
As you said the front bulkhead will be pulled back ward, as well as to say the top deck is shorter, or not?
Best regards

I am looking into some front double universals. I see various manufactures of these. Are there any brands to stay away from?

Thanks.

Most of them are actually pretty good. I wouldn't get CSO's DCJs, but any of the others are just fine.

I've had good success with the spec-r, rsd, and the hudy ones.

Hey folks,

After my last race I saw that my upper deck broke. I see that I can get the Xray 1.6mm or 2mm version for approximately $45. Are there less expensive alternatives or are these our only choices?

Thanks!

Very good alternative to the Xray stock upper deck. I've ordered tons of stuff over the year from rcmarket. Very good company and shipping doesn't take that long at all. Usually about a week to get here to Texas.

Spec-R topdeck with motor mount post is worth considering.
