The Spec-R V2 ECS are fine... especially if as Skiddins said if you orientate them so that the clip not catching on the c-hub as they rotate. I also recommend thin heat shrink as a backup. There is just enough space inside the T4 c-hubs to get away with the spec-r v2 and heat shrink without any rubbing.

I've been running the Reflex Racing DCJs and had the clips keep popping off on me until I hear shrinked them and last night they held up very well with the abuse I was giving them, no rubbing issues with the c-hubs and heat shrik either

Default New T4

Got my New T4 today and opened manual. First thing is to sand edegs and apply CA glue to chassis. How important is this step?

I have the Reflex Racing DCJ's, with those clips, I confess I use heatshrink on them as I don't trust them, but I've had 4 months use racing two times per week without a single problem.
You also have to make sure that the clips are orientated to that as the shaft rotates the clip won't try to expand and catch on the C-Hub.
SPEC R is crap you're 100% right
The heat shrink didn't bother me much, it was the pins coming out in the outdrive.. That being said reflex racing DCJ's have been ordered thanks SKIDDINS ill take it from you, seems like you been around a while

Hey guys, if you have trouble with the pins popping off, try the black ones on the narrow side and the smaller diameter silver on the outside.

For the second production run of the DCJ's, which is currently being made, they will come with the black clips. They are much, much stronger and are actually hard to clip on and off.

Even with Reflex Racings DCJ's (the best I've used so far) I put some heatshrink around them.
This is partly paranoia, but also helps stops so much dirt etc getting into the joint and shortening the lifespan.
I use transparent heatshrink so I can keep an eye on what's gotten inside.

I'm having some luck with Craig Xaviers 2013 ROAR Nats setup, but on indoor medium/medium high bite asphalt (WCRC in La Mirada, CA). I really like the way the front end of the car works with optional two piece lower suspension mount and the cut top deck. If anyone else is running on a high grip surface, I suggest giving it a try.

Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is a little off topic, but Scotty Ernst is holding an AOC championship (ala ETS) and one round is being held in my home town, Melbourne Australia. I thought I would post the link to the discussion should anyone be interested in a holiday down under

Sorry for the hijack
