As I had mentioned earlier, we have springs on the way and machined pistons and bladders should follow soon. We are also working on Titanium screw sets among other things.

If there is anything in particular anyone wants to see we will definitely entertain ideas for upgrades. Much like what we have done with the TC6, we will strive to make upgrades that end users want.
Machined Xray Pistons sound nice

Art, yeah I am excited about pistons. Good pistons, while they don't tend to increase lap times much, really increase the consistency of the car. Any hole pattern you have a preference for? I was thinking the same as stock, but I want to try a 6 hole set up as well. This car does seem to like much softer damping and springs than other cars.

about 90% of the people are running 4 hole 1.1s...so that is probably a safe bet!

Ill like to get a set if 6 hole. The Capricorn electric car runs 6 hole pistons. You make them Ill buy them.

Would it be possible to make blanks with tiny indentations where holes /could/ go, they would be used as a pilot for making your own pistons but getting the holes aligned equally. Just a thought...

Would probably need 12 "pilot" indentations equally spaced around the piston, which would make it easy to create 3, 4, and 6 hole pistons.

I tried some 6-hole pistons a couple of weekends (6x1.1) with various oils, from 400 to 700wt. I wound up putting the kit pistons back in for sharing setups, but I did like the car better on the 6-hole. I personally thought the car was smoother everywhere without sacrificing the amount of grip, which can translate to more corner speed. Consider a set sold if you make them!

it just makes sense to 'follow the $$'. i haven't run an XRay since 2010 but their parts continue to be on my cars

You're not kidding. We're spoiled. lol

Most of our setups were similar to what Alex (Hagberg) runs with some variations mixed in. I'm sure EA will have a setup sheet posted at some point.

Give it a little time, some people are just getting home from 6 days of racing. I am sure they will be posted soon.

Default Setups

Hey guys, been a while since I last posted but obviosuly we have been busy testing and preparing for the Snowbirds. It was a great race for us and the cars worked extremely well making these setups a perfect starting point for tracks with new CRC carpet/subfloors. We are not too far from our home track setup, so I expect most of you will be able to use them at your local tracks as well, but more than likely a few tweaks will be needed.

As requested(by many I might add) , here are the setups from Andrew Hardmans modified and superstock cars.

Enjoy.
