I never thought of weight under the ESC, must see if I can get a brass plate or something made up, that may be good.

Got to look at the Reflex fan mount, if only because it adds weight in the right spot, I came super close to failing a weight check today, was 4g over min limit, had a tyre blow out (and then followed by the motor), got loaned a spare motor (same as my own), but also tried some different tyres in a final run, only to walk off the drivers stand and remember I'd just changed tyres, and not re-checked the weight, got super lucky and came in 1g over legal weight.

I'd post a pic, but the wiring still looks pretty shoddy. :/

How did you determine the weight percentage?

I would wait for the 14 indefinitely. Only options I use are hudy ecs and different springs and oils for tuning. I keep split blocks for the front and a cut top deck as tuning options.

So I got my 2nd T4 last week and am building it now. I also ordered the closed layshaft mounts for it. Come to find out the new kit had them already in it. Guess these will go on the other car that I know doesn't have them. Just thought I would let everyone know so they don't order them and end up with extras unnecessarily.

They layshaft mounts are an option item that has been out a while. I have them on my car.

My buddy ordered them both for me. I believe he ordered through RCAmerica but I can double check with him if you guys would like. I know the T4 kits were back ordered for a bit so I had to wait a little bit for it.

Has anybody ever ran ECS shafts in the rear? If so, what did you notice, if anything?

I am wondering why you'd want to do that?

I haven't tried it yet. I could see it maybe being a benefit if, for example, you are running high roll centers, and the diff in the lower position. Otherwise the axles are known to bind a little in this position.
