Yes. Oversteer on exit. And lift throttle oversteer on high speed mid turn of decreasing radius.

Do any of these guys also run the T4?

Front shocks hole 2, rear hole 3
Put kit sway bars back on.
Try 0mm on rear upper inner link and possible 2mm at the front
Kit rear springs
1.5 front camber.
1000 or even 2000 in diff

I take it you meant to put 64degF for the air temp

That is correct.

Should only take you a minute to change.

I will even offer a money back guarantee!

I will try the upper link inner shim change for different camber gains, and increase rear toe.
However, I refuse to try thicker oil in my rear diff and put the 2.3-2.6 spring back on the rear.
If the car handles better, I will let you guys know.
Thank you.

I understand. But he would probably also beat me with my car even if I drove his car.

Hmm, Thanks
But we can only go on info given, especially when we haven't raced at your track.
Out of interest, why are you so against the progressive rears and thicker oil?

Oh, and what additive and are you using warmers?

This is the track, correct?;

Yes, that looks somewhat familiar.
I need all the traction I can get at this point and using thicker diff oil and putting back the stock springs (2.3-2.6) which are stiffer than what I have now (2.3) will only take away the rear traction.
I use tire tweak and Protek true grip medium and no tire warmers.

Softer front end will give more steering in low traction situations especially when running anti-dive. Running anti dive will always be better with softer springs since when suspension is fully compressed it'll be flat. If its flat already the when fully compressed it'll have some rake making less weight on rear wheels..
I asked the same question recently when I saw softer front springs in front

I'm with you dude!!
He definitely knows what he's talking about. Even though he hasn't driven on my track, which will always help when asking advice, I always read what he has to say.
No I'm not stalkinLOL

My custom battery holder. I used two tamiya motor plates and aluminum posts from old corally.

guys I am getting understeer and would like to decrease it a little bit more. Also want the car to have better turn in on slower corners.

my current setup on asphalt is below

530CST shock oil front and rear
2.5 springs all around
shocks laid all the way down front and rear
rear diff 2000 oil
stock sway bars and everything else is from stock setup.

I have all the option sway bars and springs to test out just not sure which setting I should touch first

Too thick on the shock oil. Stay in the 350-400CST range. Some people have tried 450CST, but start lower first...

Go back to the stock rear gear oil or 1000WT in the rear...

If you go back to the fully stock setup and oils, even with 2.5 springs all around, you should have PLENTY of steering.

This is all assuming you are on the right tires at your local track.

Why do you refuse to put thicker oil in the rear diff?

If you look on Xray's own forum the top drivers all run with thicker oil.

I run on carpet & ashpalt, when I first had my T4 I ran with kit oil in the rear diff changed it to 2000 and would NEVER go back to 700, the car is so much better with the thicker oil.

Never ever say no to any change advised, try it, if you don't like the difference it makes go back, but it is always worth trying something
