Default What is this chassis?

Can anyone tell me what this chassis is exactly? I recently bought it and thought it was a Corally RDX/assassin but it looks like it's backwards, like the motor and the batteries mount on the same side of the chassis? It has most of the basic structure as a RDX but then it's like it's an Oval car of some sort?

I have heard of a "Oval assassin", could this be it? (google images does not seem to show this chassis)

The picture is visible, although I have no clue as to what the chassis is

Thanks for taking a look and verifying my sanity! Anyone else know what this thing is?

There was a "direct drive" build for the Assassin So you could mount the motor direct to the rear axle, but it still was 4wd...

It's a Assassin with that motor mount but.... strange

Wow, that's kinda cool I guess! I could build it for VTa, I'm sure it'll do fine in a class like that! But then the chassis is also backwards so it's an oval chassis maybe?

thanks for the picture Robert! hadn't seen that until you pointed it out!

I have never heard of an oval assassin but that sure looks like what I would imagine one being.

It's a Corally Assassin with an oval conversion chassis. Not sure if it's the genuine Corally Oval Assassin chassis, but there is a lot of Corally style detail work in it if it isn't Corally.

To convert it to a normal assassin you just need to replace the chassis plate.

Sweet! I have three chassis plates laying around. I know one is an Assassin but it's condition is only so-so, wonder if it could fit on a RDX chassis plate since I have two brand new RDX plates?
