Default What are we paying for ????

I have a new 6 cell GP3300 1.180 @422 pack. I ran it in the car on three different club race nights. After each race I discharged @30 down to 5.40 v. I trayed down to 0.9 on a novak. I trayed again just before the next charge. I decided to cycle the pack on my Turbo 35 @30 down to 5.40v just to see what I had. After the cycle the average voltage was 7.00v. Now 7.00 divided by 6 doesn't even come close to 1.180 and I really didn't expect it to but I didn't expect it to be 1.166!! BTW I charge @ 6 amps.

The labels have the usual info:

422 secs
1.180 v
1.500 pv
2.3 ir
6.0A
0.90V
30A
5000 sec

1.180 is on a “raw” cell, when you cycle as a whole pack you’re measuring the loss from battery bars, solder joints, etc.

Not to mention you're doing it on a different machine and in a different climate. Both of those can effect the numbers.

Default Try this..

you can also try buying from the same matcher a lower pack. say a 1.165. run it in your second qualifier. (of course keep everything else the same). you'll feel the difference.
