The reason im asking is because i want a sweet looking porsche body but these chassies are either crap or a bit weak. The DT-03Ra got a nasty angle on its dogbones. i can`t live with that i feel.
I want a fairly modern chassie to ensure part availability.

my xray is 255mm but you could move the front wishbones backwards and rear forwards to get 251mm or cut the wheel arches 2mm out of position.

What model?
That said i was hoping for a Tamiya.
It seems to be possible to do so with a TA-05 but im not sure how.

Both T3 and T4 but I would think all TC cars are the same

In RWD form you can get a M04, and add two chassis spacers. This will give a wheelbase of 253. No worries, you get those two millimeters back with TA-02 arms in the rear. They need exactly 2 mm spacer to fit properly. I used all the rear suspension assembly for practical purposes, but i think other Tamiya parts would fit. Tamiya is kinda like lego... LOL In the front you will want TL arms.
This is NOT a fairly recent chassis, and much less with lots of parts availability. The rear TA arms are not so easy to come by The normal TL front ones are still available but the ones you really want are the TL-LA (with knucles and everything) because it will give you TRF like suspension geometry, and those are a LITTLE difficult to find.
This is not a perfect car for racing, far from that, but it would give the correct scale appearance and well... a Porsche is always MEANT to be RWD.
Here is a picture of my 993 GT2 with this setup and SUPER wide offset (its a tamiya 200mm wide shell.. )
