The arms are probably binding. If you disconnect the shocks and the swaybars, the arm should move up and down very freely. If you lift it up, it should very easily fall under its own weight. The bind is most likely coming from too much friction between the arm and the spacers on the inner hinge pin. Bind can also come from the outer hinge pin, and even the camber link ball cups if they're really tight.

thank you grippgoat
though of shims first but found out later it was the outer hinge ping (wheel side) that was not totally free it moved but needed little more reaming to get free also slightly sanded the plastic holder that holds the center rod stopper so it roll better yet no slide sideways.

rebuilding half car again to get everything smooth.

yet another question on sway bars. where supposed to get the bar hold into the arms tie rod, all way in, half, just so the screw holds it? does it really matter?

The S1 should be absolutely softer - probably better for lower traction tracks

Sway bars look like they work better now still they feel like being too soft or shock springs to hard cause there is little compensation. They tend to bend before even start moving the arm.

Got some lipos ordered today, if any european people want to get some, there is a discount code active to use and get around 6$ direct discount per batt from DE warehouse.

should be the one that comes std with the r1, the car is quite stiff if you use all screws in the topdeck

there are 4 different topdecks, the ones that comes with the r/s1, and the 2 option cf topdecks (softer than std r1)

i have ordered the softer versions, will also try the glassfibre chassi and topdeck (will buy a s1 just to have some spares..)

Hey guys, was at the track and broke another outer pivot pin, any one know why this keeps happening or if has happened to anyone else.
Also I seem to be getting too much body roll going hot into turns which cause car to roll over or lose the rear any one have any suggestions to correct this.
I also put 3000 diff fluid in but it leaked out, seal and rubber is good, and it was tightened down all the way any suggestions.
Thanks

Chile - Southamerica

Spec R R1 and S1 cars makes debut on Chilean Nats 2nd Stage.

S1 TQ's on 13.5 Class and R1 TQ's on 8.5 Class.

On finals, S1 win 13.5 class and R1 takes 4th place on 8.5 Class (battery failure).

We are very happy with the cars and are more than excited to evolve with them on setups and performance ... soon pics and vids !

Well... Spec-R made a lot of aftermarket parts for XRay... and a lot of XRay and Spec-R parts are interchangeable... so take that for what you will...

Of which parts and which cars? I'm thinking of getting a spare Xray because of it.
