Iīve ordered my S1 today

Think, I am one of the only handful of Germans driving this car.

Hope, itīs equal to my old XRay T1FK05 or even better...

Some hop-ups (3racing SSK, Spare-parts,etc)will be ordered later...

Greetings from germany,

Chris

Questions??

Does any one know if the battery strap mount holes are spaced the same as Xray battery brackets? I am looking at using the Reflex Racing's battery hold down system and possibly wanted to use Xray brackets.

I'm tempted to get one of these for a VTA car. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions, as the last TC I built was a TA-02.
First one, and it's a dumb one.... Does anyone make 6mm wide hexes anodized red?

Hobbyking has them in several widths including 6mm and 7mm in red.

They're out of most of the 6mm, including red. They have 7 though.

I ordered an S1 from TQ this morning, along with some other parts. Hopefully it gets here quick.

Default Spring rates

Can someone tell me the spring rates for the Red and White springs that come in the kit? Also, the spring rates for the optional spec r springs?

Default Suspension Arms Tight

Hey guys,
I found with my S1 the suspension arms seem awful tight.
When the screws are half tightened to check on clearance the screws get pushed back as under tension. I can make them square and push it down hard but it feels almost binding and not right.
I read about David Rose and his assembly of the S1 and how he said it will loosen up but this seems bad.

I dropped out the 1mm plastic spacer from one side of the arm and it feels like a better fit. Has anyone found this? Did you all just force it down and have it tight?
