Also try contacting them through EGRmart website. I have found them most helpful at times.

Don't understand why there is no love for these, I can't even get $100 for an R-1 Roller, do they handle like shopping carts or something?

People don't want to 'invest' in them because there has been no part support or even any communication from the manufacturer in over a year. They could at least offer an explanation for their absence.

As for not being able to sell your R1, I'm still interested but it's out of my budget at moment.

I'll be running my R1 pro at IIC in Vegas next month. I might be the only one there, running a Spec-R.

As for getting it down to weight, I am using a shorty Futaba servo, Futaba receiver, Juststock esc, SMC 5000 batts. (288 gms.) and a light weight Protoform speed 6 body. I'm at about 1370ish.

I e-mailed Spec-R a number of months ago. They replied they would have c hubs within a month. Still not available.

Our local shop is/was a supplier, closed down this past weekend, and they were told the same thing over a year ago according to him.

I don't believe it when I am told it is in the works. I will when I see it.

Another fix for front c hubs is to use Yokomo arms and c hubs, same as associated drill it out.

It appears to me they have a number of kits still available, perhaps they are trying to get rid of them?

As you can tell from some of the above posts. You need to be adaptable in being able to adjust other brands parts to,

1. Keep a Spec-R racing
2. Some even make for a better racer

I'm the only one racing a Spec-R and only in VTA in my area.

Thanks. I also need a new center pulley (the two "plates" that screw to the spur gear). Is there another brand of *those* that will work in my S1?
