Hey NutDriver, I have one of each model (S1-R2) now since I last saw you in Nashville. I think the R2 is more like an Xray.

I've got the S2 and R2 setup for VTA and swap between them for different types of tracks.

Since I've gotten the R2 I'm within a .1 of the fastest guys at our track and can run with them if I hit the corners right. Good car.

Cool! Thanks, Gary. I'm still flogging a TC4. Will you be at the Southern Nats this year?

I would say more like a piece of porcelain.

Horrible material that thing is made out of.

I run yokomo blue and black most of the time but I've seen pink used a lot too.
Sooner orlater ill get those and test.
Kinda struggling with the r2 in mod. But not sure what to equate the arm mount setup to.. maybe kyosho? Or t4 14/15?

I usually base my setups around posted marc reinhard setups and the 418 but meh..

One thing I do know, floating pivot top plate not ideal indoors heh.

I like it. It is supposed to allow the chassis to flex more which I'm sure it does. I like it most for compartmentalizing the steering though. Two screws and the whole steering rig is out.
The more stuff on the centerline the better.

R2 has new upper and lower plates, new transmission bulkheads and new motor mount. none of these are compatible at all with the r1 platform including s1 and s2. the hole spacing is completely incompatible.

Try this. However braking point will be changed to somewhere in the front. Just do not crash...
