Not bad! I like the price, but my only concern is finding a LHS that will support the car fully (i.e. keeping parts in stock, and not ordering as I need).

Looks like Spec-R is taking the Kia/Hyundai approach. Once you realize you're already making enough parts to put 75% of a car together you might as well finish the job. If your final product is competitive you'll go from "it's a what?" to "wow, that's nice" pretty quickly.

Usually spec-r stuff shows up here first for USA shops, I'm pretty sure Alan still runs this site: http://www.hksrc.com/store/

It may show up on the china sites first though.

It's about time another company jumped on the toe block insert bandwagon! They were originally designed by Josh Cyrul while working for Kyosho I believe.

Interesting looking chassis, they've got all the modern trends right there at an unbeatable price

I just bought a new Kia this year, and you are EXACTLY right on this statement

All but centerline over-the-top servo mount. And maybe DCJs, I couldn't see in the photos.

Im sure there is a basis for all design. It looks like they took certain items they liked from all the manufactuers and put them together. Actually it looks very good imo. Looks like the flex will be even across the chassis. I like the adjustable toe blocks.

BUT 300 BUCKS! Sweet to have all the goodies on one...

Stop crying about not having stock dcj's or a floating mount let a company make money somehow.

ha. i like the red, but that chassis bottom looks funny compared to the other cars out there all trimmed and tucked.
at $300 i probably wouldnt buy it. $399 gets you a sure thing thats competitive.

we need more cars in the sakura zero s competition range. $100-$150 is where the real "stock" racing should be.

The chassis looks good to me. If the dealer network and parts support are decent and the street price is right, this could be a great deal. I don't like the rear motor mount access through the spur gear. My Sakura Zero S had the same setup and I changed that out for their vertical motor mount.

Some people have said that TC has been on the decline for sometime now, and 1/10th off road is gaining a lot of popularity again - check it out, TC's at 500 bones, and the best 2WD buggy can be had for less than $300 - now a TC comes out at this (right) price, Q the (TC) comeback!

This kit looks great, ya the plastics are unknown, and ya I want it to have those trick DCJ's too, but this is a great start!
