Finally broke some bits on my R1 on practice night, and it wasn't even a hard hit. I just grazed the inside wall of a turn at the apex, but there must be a seam that I caught the end of the axle on, and it broke the c-hub and steering block. The wheel ended up inside of the car.
I think the axle protrusion increased when I changed to the sweep qts32 premounts. I've also started traction rolling, so increasing track width with wider hexes will hopefully help reduce traction rolling, as well as reduce the axle protrusion.
I also tried a new pf mazda6 GX body at practice night. I only used it for about 20 seconds before catching it on a crack in the boards and tearing a chunk out of it. :P

Anyone know if the geardiff internals from Xray XB4/T4 fit the original Spec-R R1 diff?? Noticed that my internals was missing some of the teeth on the big gears and there´s racing tomorrow and no spares in the box!!

Touring cars should not cost $900. This shouldbt be a hobby that costs more than our kids first ride lol.
Ah well. As long as there are people to pay the price, there will be stuff for it.
Id live to own an expensive car. Hell I did with the serpent. For me it really wasn't any better.

Glad to hear it worked for you!
I had a good weekend with my R1 Pro USA spec car....I raced it in USGT and I ended up 2nd qualifier and 2nd overall after triple A-mains at the 2014 USVTA Scale nationals. There was all kinds of cars in the main lots of Xrays, Tamiya and even an awesomatix.
