change to a better servo, std servos isnt very strong or precise
a good digital servo will do a big difference in the cars behavior on the track

New chassis and top deck, as well as new motor mount: http://www.redrc.net/2013/06/spec-r-...sis-top-decks/
They claim thinner, thus more traction. Would you guys say this would give better traction/handling on smooth carpet tracks?

probably just for medium/low grip asphalt. I am already tuning out grip with the current setup on our med/high grip asphalt track

I will have to try that new chassis.
Now a short shock setup is needed!

My son got involved in a violent crash yesterday. The car in front of him lost control when he tried to avoid a slow moving vehicle in the fast lane. He started swerving uncontrollably and wiped out my son's 911 gt3 as my son passed that guy's mustang. My son's 911 started rolling over at full speed and did 6-7 rolls when the silver mustang rammed into it and the slow moving car had gained full speed by then and caught up to the two cars and rammed into my son's 911.
The smudges and scratches on the gt3 buffed right out. But the front and rear suspensions were badly damaged and also the cooling fan was totaled.
Among the parts I am trying to replace I am having trouble locating the rear outer suspension shaft, aka hinge pin. What are the dimensions? May be other brands will fit.
Ideas?
Thanks.

It turns out the second car that crashed into my son's 911 was also trying to avoid the slow moving vehicle.
Here is the footage.

Spec-R ship in 7days even on the slowest post method. The alloy fan mount is money well spent and i have found those outer hinge pints to be somewhat brittle, having had one break when some idiot slammed into me on a warm up lap.

Have you tried http://www.tqrcracing.com
If I order something before noon on a Monday, I have it in my hands on Wednesday (west coast), without fail. TQRC is amazing.

Thank you everyone. I searched TQracing again with "pivot pin" and it came up.
TQ search engine is harder to use than other hobby stores' as it wants exact consecutive words. For example, the description TQ listed is "Outer pivot pin". If I search for "outer pin" it doesn't come up. The products don't seem to have tag words either. TQ has great inventory and A+ customer service but their search engine is the limiting factor of their business.
