Since I'm low post count and didn't want to spam all over, I couldnt make it to post the link properly so that was the only workaround I found to add them.
interesting, I was trying to make it the most squared to steering rack for a more linear throw, I'm using a longer ballstud than default too so it screws properly deep in arm.
So in which way you say it makes it better or worst adding those spacers there in the arm?

Obviously a squared steering link would be the best. But when you use a plastic servo horn or a servo saver, it can twist easily when you push hard on the steering... Adding spacers will increase the moment of force...
I don't know how to explain better, try to block the servo and move the steering... you will see how the servo saver is deformed...

Most of them will. Thicker ones you will probably use the stock black bushings. I use an HPI spur that is thinner in the middle and use the white bushings on either side.

I guess my next question would be...
What is the 64-pitch equivalent to a 48-pitch, 84-tooth spur?
**EDIT**: Never mind, figured it out

Take the 48-pitch gear size, divide by 1.5, then multiply by 2.
EX: 84 (48-pitch spur) / 1.5 = 56
56 x 2 = 112 (64-pitch spur).
84-tooth, 48-pitch gear = 112-tooth, 64-pitch gear.

Keep in mind, you can't use just any spur and pinion combo. There is a limited amount of adjustment possible with the motor to get the mesh right.
I had a 106 tooth 64 pitch spur in at first. To get my desired FDR I had to put a larger pinion in and I couldn't get the motor far enough away. Finally had to scrap that.
My sweet spot was the 96 tooth spur in 64 pitch.

I run a 94 spur and have no problems getting the gearing I need, just use the bottom hole of the motor mount.
I run the 3 racing spur gears and shim the stock bushings with .10 .20 .30 5 mm inner shims!

The car settled down alot more.
Worth to try some lighter springs

Give the car a bit more droop both front and rear will also help a lot over the bumps.

They are pretty hard, I switched to Tamiya Blue/Yellow on my car. HPI Silvers are a good bet outdoors, Yokomo Pink/Blue are also worth a try. If you don't want to try springs you could always lay the shocks down a bit more, although it may not be to your liking.

Seen a few posts asking about outdoor setups, this is what i run on my S1, I have replaced the rear arm holders with r1 setup to get the 1.0 toe in, plus run the white bushings and aluminum single mount servo holder.
Ride Hight Front 6mm
Ride Hight Rear 5mm
Drop 5mm front and rear
Front Caster Std
Front Camber 1.5
Rear Camber 2.0
Front Toe Out 0
Rear Toe In 1.0
Spur 94 64DP
Pinion 47 64DP
FDR 3.8
Shocks 3 hole piston fr / rr as per instructions
Oil 400 wt fr / rr

Muchmore 24r's with med insert (its winter here)
