I would relocate the steering arm mounting to the servo saver by moving the ball studs to the front side of the servo saver. You will end up shortening the arms a little bit. The result will be full movement of the steering linkage without binding and you will get a more proper control of the ackerman in the linkage. Thus you will be able to adjust an bump-steer and make the linkage more efficient in steering the car. Good luck.

The right slot is at the end of the slot even though the left slot has room for more adjustment.

You are going to have to sand the servo mount to move some of the bigger servos over. I had to sand it to get my Futaba 9650's centered. It's not very much but it still has to be done.

Here’s a better photo for reference...it’s not much but it is a couple mm. Maybe the easiest is to open the slot a hair more.

Just FYI...obviously the links aren’t attached yet. I haven’t set the servo saver/arms etc yet...I just pulled the assembly from my other CRC.

Great idea Jorge. However I think this is a bit beyond my technical ability/comfort level. I also dont have anything to check the timing with other than maybe a volt/amp meter. Very clever solution though.

I installed the Futaba S9650 in my CK25 and had to widen the opening shown in the pic above to move it far enough over to get the spline to center. I explored several possibilities like putting the servo on the other side or behind the mounts and ultimately decided to just Dremel out the opening. I did a pretty good job and got the servo fit in there nice and straight. Its dead center and my links are very square (level and straight across). Cant wait to try it this weekend with the new ESC and servo. If CRC made a running change in that mount to open the slot more or add an additional slot next to it that would make life easier. BTW I no problems centering a Savox servo.

Andrew Knapp was on the money. watched the races on liverc.com, he destroyed the comp at 2017 indoor championship, swept three 1/12th classes and F1 with TQs and wins. insane.

Now he is a legitimate 1/12 scale master. A threat for a World Championship. Great for him. America needs someone to move into that level.
