Running 17.5T and eventually Can-Am Stock on a medium-sized technical medium-grip black carpet track.

Has the stock red center spring and I'm getting some fresh CRC .45 and .50 springs.

Other than ride height spacers and another left side hub so I can run a spool anything else I should consider or look out for?
Front roll center adjuster plates. They space the front arm up a few millimeters and are used on carpet.

Added those to the order.

Should I start with 30wt or go lighter since I'm running a spool. My local track is very very smooth and Medium grip black carpet.

On tracks with high grip it can make the body a little more efficient, but it doesn't generate as much downforce. It will also bias the body toward front grip.

Yes, use the small Kimbrow. It has 25 T spline, I think. One of the other drivers at your track tried the Kimbrow medium and had all sorts of problems mounting it. And he still had unacceptable bump steer when he finished getting it in.

Could it have anything to do with using a spool rear end? Like, maybe you don't want the rear end as locked in, so the spool doesn't create so much tire scrub?

Giving the front mounted servo a try this weekend.

If I have the kingpin set to 10.2mm but have play between the e-clip and spring should I tighten it to remove it?

Also with 1 run one .50 and .45 springs one side has maybe .2mm more play than the other. Any ideas what is causing that?

Do you think you'll notice moving the servo forward 2 33/64"?

If the springs are slightly different height, you can make up the difference by shortening one kingpin. As for the play in the suspension you want to have a little play instead of any binding, make sure the front end moves absolutely free in both the top ball, kingpin slide, and movement of the pivot ball in the arm.

i may double post here. my appology

I am planning to buy a ck25, to run on a very new ETS black carpet, close to very high traction, small to medium size trace, 1S and 3.5T
1. Can some bros here advise what set up i shall start with?
2. should i use a zero stiff chassis and motor back plate?
3. what front spring should i buy other than the standard from the box? say, need 0.55 front and others for the center and sides?
4. what spare parts are must?
5. gear ratio?
6. is the US version a wide front version?

I have some spare parts already

Bronze Lower Arm Ball- ProStrut
Front ride height shim set #4260
Team Standoff 1/2"
Gen X FE Top Brace- Short Arm
Hard Anod Teflon Coated Pivot Ball: T-bar + Cen Pivot

million thanks

I was told 27/88 to start with my Hobbywing G3 3.5T.

Haven't broken anything in stock but kept popping off center shock until I installed the revised parts.

Have heard the front caster mounts can be a weak point.

A few Mod setups have a purple center spring with some fuel tubing to limit shock travel.

I'll be running mine as Mod for the first time in the 30th so I'll make sure to update with everything I break lol
