I

C&M Motorsports made a nice delrin pivot with the same spacing as CRC, but I don't think they're around anymore.

This is the setup we most recently ran on a high speed tight track at the Hudy Race in St. Louis. If your track is on the new CRC Black Carpet and you are looking for something that reacts quickly, especially through the tighter sections of the track I would strongly recommend trying this.

Front:
.45 front springs
.25-.5mm front droop
5degree castor blocks
2 shims back
.25deg camber
2.5mm roll center shim
Losi Smart Diff Grease on the kingpins
Brass pivot balls
Ballstuds on steering knuckles shimmed up 2.5mm
(Make sure that the turnbuckles are level and that they are parallel to the front of the chassis or have a slight forward sweep)
166mm front width
CRC Purple Stripe - 39.5-40mm

Rear:
35wt shock oil
AE blue or NEW crc purple center spring
.50mm of spacing under the front side link
.50 CRC side springs - outboard position
2mm pod up-travel
15,000wt diff fluid in the tubes (can use 1 tube of 10k and 1 tube of 20k as an option)
172mm rear width
CRC Purple Stripe - 40-40.5mm

CRC Audi R8 Body in 17.5
CRC Lola Body in 13.5

Option Parts:
New CRC LCG Rear Pod
New CRC Double Clamping Hub
New CRC Dampener Tube Ballstuds

If anyone has any questions about this setup I would be more then willing to answer, just let me know either on here or on Facebook.

What is the part number for the new damper tube ball studs?
Are they for the inner or outer ball studs?

This is what you want. http://www.teamcrc.com/crc/modules.p...prodID=7719748

It's the inner studs.

Default Mip tools

Not sure if anyone has noticed but mip is trying to presell 250 sae nut driver sets to secure a production run. Anyone who has a crc should preorder it as it comes with all the nut drivers we use and no one can argue the quality of mip tools. The preorder price is $40 for the three vs $18 each if they ever do get made.
But get on it. Ive wanted mip nut drivers forever!

Default New pod plates - lighter?

Can someone who has one of the new lowered slider pods please comment on how much it weighs as compared to the original style of slider pod?

Hey guys, I've added some adapters to my Shapeways shop that will allow you to measure the caster angle on the CRC front end with most setup systems on the market. The adapters sit on top of the steering blocks and hold a short piece of 1/16" music wire. The wire will point to the markings located on most setup systems such as Hudy, Trackstar, etc.. No more eyeballing the caster angle. There are two holes for mounting the wire, so these work with both inline and trailing axles, and fit both the original pro-strut steering blocks, as well as the newer blocks for the 1/18" axles.

I think it's "kinda" verified, but will a Futaba S9650 Servo fit the XTI WC, stock, without any modifications/drilling?

In the standard position behind the front axle. Not in front of the front axle like the ultra small Sanwa SRG-HR without cutting ears off and shoe gooing.
