Anybody know how to take out the original silver/chrome antenna from the Mars/Mars R?

I've had the Mars R for some time now and I just got a black antenna today for it to have a better look, but having a hard time trying to figure out how to take the original one out...

Open up the case.....you will find a screw at the end of the antenna holding it in. Yes it is a pain in the backside!

Default ? on which servo to get

ok i am needing a servo and i am looking at the ko 2173 analog servo and the digital ko 2143 servo. i want your input on which one i should get for my tc3 . i am so fed up with this hitec servo that doesn't center for $@#% and makes all these crazy noises. so i am going to go with what some other racers have said they use . but since i have never used a high end servo or a digital servo either . i figured i would get you guy's input.....

thanks alot...

Read this on digital servos and decide for yourself if you need to go digital. Thats the best solution!

Default Futaba 3PDF and KO KR301F Rx

I just get a Mars R with KR301F receiver. I need another transmitter that cheaper the the Mars R and will work with my KR301F. Will Futaba FM TX ie. 3PDF work with KO receiver especially the KR301F?

thanks

YES, the R is far quicker, you'll especially notice it just off center, You only get the advantage with the use of digital servos though.

You guys need to get the HElios. It works with any Rx, even the "R". I got mine w while back and that thing is soooooo fast~! And you think the MARS R is fast, this one has a faster response
