Some companies don't actually manufacture anything, they buy in designs from other Far Eastern sources and relabel them, or have those same sources change a few details to their own spec, like anodising colour etc.

The car in the first post looks 95% the same as a Carson CE4 from circa 2002/3, but the arms are different, as is the upper deck and shock towers. The rest is the same, including the powdercoated motormount, so I'm assuming, its from the original manufacturer of the CE4, which is Smartech. http://www.smartechracing.com/Englis...how.asp?id=889

I haven't seen anyone post anything with pillow ball front suspension. That's a pretty rare thing in the electric onroad world. Only one I can think of is an old OFNA.

from looking at the pic and manuals, i would have to conclude it is a hopped up trinity tspec, the pics of the chassis in the manual as well as the steering arms sure looks real close match

Yes, it's a Smartech. The latest version looks different because they have changed the chassis and got rid of the alloy upper deck that was used to hold the mechanical speed controller. suspension parts look the same though.
