Default 1/12th learning help.

SO! i need to learn as much as possible about racing 1/12th pan car. I started running one at my local track last winter and got some basics down and im not a bad driver as long as i stay focused. but i didnt retain as much of the info i learned as i wanted to. so any tips tricks advice would be great. we run stock, so it would also be nice to hear about good esc/motor setups. ran a havoc 1s and ballistic 17.5 last year and it was ok.

i need help with understanding rollout better. tires better (whats shore?) and basic shock setup. i run a rc12r5 not .1 or .2 the original.

Thanks for any help!

Mark Payne's 12th blog is a great reference for building, maintenance, setup, etc. He has a great series of posts on getting the car perfectly tweaked.

Obviously, the "1/12th Forum" thread in this section is a huge wealth of info compiled over the past decade: http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...-12-forum.html

The link I posted has links to just about every guide out there plus info on cars, ESCs, servos and stuff. Pretty much all the info you'll need.
