Hello from France,

we run for more than a year now, HobbyWing XR8+ and HobbyWing 1900kv.
The batteries are Absima 3s/5.000mAh/45C, Peak Power 3s/5.000mAh/45C, GensAce 3s/5.000mAh/50C.

Our race runs are 7mn.
With a ratio of 17/46, for a large track (controler timing 6 / boost level 3), we don't have no heat problems.
My cutoff is set at 3,4V/cell and, I can go for over 10mn.

Regards.

Hello from France,

I ran for past weeks this option and it works great!!!

It replace the carbon fiber plate and gives good flex.

That improves steering and driving is very smooth.

Hello, If I wanted to make a 360mm wheelbase GT-E with the 3.1 kit's parts, can I use this Chassis with the newer parts? The important holes (center column, front/rear diff cases, steering) look the same, and anything else I could drill on my own.

Is there a possibility to reach a longer wheelbase? I don't know maybe an hop-up chassis?

Hello from France,
If you have a standart Serpent Cobra (325mm whelbase) and you want to convert it to the "Long Wheel Base" Serpent Cobra LWB (360mm wheelbase) , it's easy.

All the parts are available (longer chassis, longer driveshafts, batteries mounts...) to modify the SWB.

Is the car on the picture using a LWB? I was asking because these rally game cars always look "squared". I understand that they are coming from buggies but I'm pretty sure that these cars have the same ratios as smaller touring cars...Especially on the corner speed point...

My car is a SWB.

Here's a picture of a standard SWB kit .

And the LWB kit.
