Hi just after abit of quick advice, I would search if my phone would alow. If I buy 68833 gear diff set. To run in the front on my tcx with specR v2 dcj drive shafts. Will that work or will I need different outdrives? If so what outdrives will I need. Thanks.

68836 DRIVE SHAFT BLADE SET (GEAR DIFF) ***has both blades for 2mm and 2.3mm pin***
68278 GEAR DIFF OUT DRIVE SET (ALUMINUM/2pcs) ***We use these in our rear Gear Diffs only and you must use a blade***

EDIT: Alot of the new parts are not on the website yet but are in stock.

Thanks. I had seen that but in my head I thourt I'd have 2.3mm pin on my tcx. So won't need them for 2.0mm pin.

They are all optional parts and not necessities. This is a common occurence amongst all cars, them using other parts from other cars. Just like Tamiya and Yokomo drivers use our springs on their cars. Look here to understand the 2.25mm option chassis

It stands to reason that the pin on the Spec-R is 2.3mm and if so then you will need to use our 2.4mm blade with with the outdrives included with the gear diff. The gear diff comes with both 2.0mm and 2.4mm blades. The easiest way to know for the sure the pin size is to measure it with calipers.

Thanks fred. This is what I thourt. I would of measured it but I need to get it orderd and I'm at work

. It was more the length of the outdrive I was worried about. Ill order it now.

Where do parts come from on the HB website? I ordered what I thought were in stock parts on the site last week. My card has not been charged yet or anything than conformation email very frustrating for a new customer of there product.

Hi guys,

Just after some feedback from other racers on Ceramic Ball Bearings, i was thinking of getting my TCXX kitted out with these bearings is it really worth it you think over the standard ones?

Just divide the number of teeth on the spool/diff by those on the centre pulley.

39/19 or 39/18

Just wanted your input with the one piece FR and RF .5- 1.0 blocks. What does widening this part actually do to the handling of the car?

Actually using those blocks (1.0FF & .5FR) will make the front of the car narrower than using the kit setup of 1.5FF & 1.0FR. That configuration will generate more initial steering and the .5* of arm sweep will give back some of the mid/exit steering you lose by making the front end narrorwer.
