What is the diff ?

R5.2 part number is 4692, R5.1 is 8511
The 4692 was new for the inline chassis. So now it's used in the 5.2 kit.

From what i can see you will need

1 x 4700 Motor Mount Bulkhead
1 x 4701 LR Bulkead
1 x 4702 Motor Mount Brace
1 x 4703 Upper Pod Plate
1 x 4704 Chassis Brace

1 x 4708 Damper Tube
1 x 4709 Damper Tube Shaft

I think that is all (someone correct me if there is anything missing)

Are the mounting points for the motor/left side bulkheads different? Would it be possible to install 5.2 motor/left side bulkheads on a R5 lower pod #4602(Sorry, I ment the brushless lower rear pod #8511), then use a 5.1 upper pod plate #4688?

The alloy front bulkheads are threaded so its like the TC6.1 now where you screw into the bulkhead and not the arm bushing. Its a much more user friendly design
