Default Top Gun 2012 at Nor-Cal Hobbies

I'm happy to announce one of the best road races of the year - Our 3rd Top Gun Challenge. It's sponsored by TOP Racing, Solaris Racing Tires and Reedy.

The winner of Open Touring Car gets an invite to the 2013 Reedy Touring Car Race of Champions.

The Classes are
17.5NR, 17.5NR Sportsman, 13.5NR, Open, Nitro - Touring Car Classes
Mini 17.5 Cirtix
Formula 1 21.5 Cirtix/Silvercan 190mm on Rubber Tires
Touring Car and Mini will run on spec tires.

The winners of each class receive an actual Fighter Helmet. Everyone gets the classic aviator sunglasses and dogtags to commemorate the event.

Saturday is 3 rounds of qualifying, Sunday is 1 round and mains. We will use the qual points system in all classes except Open Touring Car. Open Touring Car will consist of 4 heads up races each day - The Reedy format.

NR= Non Ramping, or Blinky.

So if I'm reading this right. EJ is "Maverick" and OD is "Goose"?

There should be a big turnout for mini. Mini rules concerning body? I saw NR esc and a Citrix 17.5.

It's hidden in the fine print 40/15/5. The tires will be $30 with a limit of 3 for qualifying, if your fortunate enough to make the main, you can get an extra set.
