Default Radio

I want a radio, a good sythesized one. The Mx-3s looks good ,but i was wondering what else there are. I don't want to go buy a hella expensive one, or a one with too much stuff that I don't need.

I've read the m8 is such a good radio, and it's really easy to learn.

Default Airtronics MX3-s

I have one of these, and run a sedan and a buggy with it. I would go MX-8s if you can afford it. Then you can upgrade to the DSS Spectrum system when they become more readily available. I am running into some glitching issues at both of the tracks I run at. I am installing the Yokomo Noise killer kit in my sedan right now, and am testing it out tomorrow. If this doesn't do it I am sending the transmitter into Airtronics for service.

Hey axel,

I've got 2 JR XS3s if you are interested in one of those. I've got the standard one, or the Pro, both come with servos, reciever and box. Both used for a short period. They are nice radios, I just needed to get something compatible with Spektrum. Are you in Southern California? Let me know if you are intersted.

Mike

Oh, and jw92656, the glitching with Airtronics' synthesized radios is to do with the Airtronics reciever, not the transmitter. People with the M8 and synthesized setup from Airtronics have the same problem. It's been pretty well documented on this forum, and everyone I know at the track that ran them went to either a Novak reciever, or back to crystals.
