Default HPI vs. Schumacher Shock oil.

Hi guys,
I have a HPI Pro4 and alot of Schumacher shock oil. I was wondering what the difference is between them.
Is the Schumacher 50wt thicker or thinner than HPI 50wt ??

plz comment.

Basiclly they might be the same weight, but react diffrently in the shocks. I know this first hand, I have used 60wt, 40wt. in my touring car from both trinty, Assiocated plus other various companies, and assiocated oil better suits my style, where my car feels a tad off with the other oils. Just experiment, you will find one that will suit your style.

In order of viscosity thickest to thinnest for the same weight.

Associated
Schumacher
Trinity
Losi
Orion

The fact that they are diffrent is not bad. Just pick one that your LHS carries and stick to it. If you constantly change brands of shock oil you will completely lost on your setup.
This means every weight of oil in you pit box should be of the same brand.
