New 3ch JR radio!!!!
 

Hey guys

i have been talking to josh swishford a guy who works for horizon hobby and apparently there is a new JR radio coming out in late May. This radio will replace the popular R1 and i cant wait for it.

Has anyone heard any other radios.

Did he give word on what features it's going to have? Will it include the spektrum module and reciever?

that sounds like a good news. synth. or crystals?

All he said was it would be spectrum-compatible. Will also include very new technology but that was all he was allowed to say.

I dont know about synth or crystals.

That could explain why Horizon has been 'out of stock'.

I ordered an R1 from the LHS and we were speculating that this may be why they don't have any to sell.

"JR is working on a version on XS3 with the Spektrum. Theyr'e tesing it now but it'll probably be a while until it comes out"

That explains why my hobby shop is selling the R1 pcms at fm prices. I think i'll hold off until May. Anyone got spy shots yet?

Nah its not a new version of the xs3 its a new
R1 with the dot screen. and all the good stuff.
This is to put JR in front of the helios and 3pk.

I was trying to order one aswell but cant get them anywhere.

i was looking to get a R1 about a month ago sure glad i didnt

I talked with someone from JR/Horizon and they said it will be the same thing as the KO Helios but under the JR name....kind of like the JR R-756 and the Old KO EX-10 they were both the same radio. I dont know if this is the plan still.

I got a call from one of the local hobby shops. Their Horizon rep just called.... the R1 is officially discontinued. No official word on the replacement.

I am betting that it will be the R2 and module synthesized (we all know that it will handle that Spektrum ....I hope that I spelled that right). I'd love to have more information and especially... a due date.....

i wonder if it'll cost more than the R1.

oh i love my r1, whatever jr comes out with it better feel as good in my hand as my r1 does
