Well done to Tamiya for getting such a good driver.

I think as a TRF driver he will be sponsored direct from japan , the hobby company is too much of a 2 bit company to sign such a driver.

Yeah itīs really good seeing David back with a competetive car again. Think he will be fast as he was some time ago.
Hope he comes to the LRP Masters next month.

Sorry but I don't agree!

IFMAR world championships:

1998 - Spashett + Losi = A main & win

2000 - Spashett + Yokomo = Didn't make the A

2002 - Spashett + Losi = A main

2004 - Spashett + Losi = A main

When he was in the top10 he always drove a Losi car.......

Are you sure of your statement ? The first round of the BRCA nationals is on the same week end, and last time this happened, no Uk driver came, because it would be giving easy points to your contenders if you didn't go to the nationals, but I could be wrong.

Dave has always been quick with whatever car he has driven. The few times I've acctually been trackside to watch him drive it has been unreal.

I'm not sure which event (nationals or lrp) he will do - I know he always used to excel at the "old" Aldershot track - But the LRP does carry more "weighting" especially since the nationals are over 7 rounds with 4 to count.

I just really hope that someone imports the cars and spares properly - Nick Adams does good but if someone like Helger did it we would have hundreds of them racing. Shame the Hobby Company just dont seem interested in anything except their Eurocup - When Ben Cosgrove drove the Tamiya to the first National win last year (as a privateer - he was sponsored by LRP and Peak but not tamiya), I heard that they werent that bothered about trying to sort out proper sponsorship for him.

I know that. He really was a longtime Losi driver. But from what I know he wasnīt very happy with the new Losi. Iīm pretty sure he would have done even better at the 2004 worlds with a car like TRF or HPI.

The Masters are going to be sooo exciting this year! Tamiya with an already very strong line-up of drivers and then adding Spashett, HPI/Hotbodies with Hara, Surikarn and a new car(!), Hirosaka with the new Yokomo (guessing), Schumacher with Teemu... and still they have to get through the Xray team!!!

Anyone wants to guess who wins?

We could see an A main full of drivers that have products named after them

- Emil

O yeah and congratulations David! Too bad Xray didnīt sign you...

I could imagine Hara come again to the LRP Masters and I also would like to see again Surikarn and Maezumi.
But Masami I wouldnīt count on him. Itīs long ago since he was at this race but sure would be cool seeing him also there.
