Default TC5 Pulleys

I am wondering if anyone has tried using different pulleys, in order to lower the internal gear ratio, on a TC5. I was hoping to run TA-05 36t pulleys, to get to a 1.8 internal, but the TC5 belts are far too long. Any help is appreciated!!!
