Default Carpet question

We are starting on carpet in a couple of weeks, using 65mm square plastic pipe as track markers.

I know you hold this to the carpet using velcro hook, but how much velcro and of what type? Currently I have a quantity of 20mm wide standard hook.

i have seen tracks use velcro that way, but it was at least 2-3 inches wide, like 50-75mm.

OK, thanks

Are there other ways of holding it together then?

We used 2x6's, 12 inches long, 2 each to keep the square pipes together. We used industrial width velcro to keep them from moving .

if the track is not permenant you might want to use duct tape, the track might move a little during the night but it is a lot easier on the cars.

simply tape the ends of the pipes together
