I guess it is all speculations, I have seen nothing factual, but I assume that something new in the shocks "department" is anticipated.

I've already seen this modification for BD7 somewhere. Just can't remember where. Some of the platforms are including this as standard in their kit. Just wanted to let you know that this is possible using available Yokomo bd7 parts.

Good one. Can't speak for high grip asphalt or carpet. What I can say is that people at our track (low to medium-low grip) were struggling with the 2015 and the older 2014 version was performing great. As you all know it is difficult to have an all-round car which will excel in all conditions. Sometimes manufacturers modify a version for certain conditions. This makes it better for those conditions and a little less good for different conditions (low grip/high grip - bumpy surface/flat surface - carpet/asphalt etc.). When you look at the 2015 BD7 the impression you get is that the 2015 was designed for higher grip conditions. Rear brace and motor mount position are good indicators. The 2014 platform which is still available in most stores in my opinion handles better in lower grip conditions. But again that is my opinion.

I can totally see what they have done. Will be interesting to see what springs fit the new shocks they are talking about.

I agree with what you say, although I think the 14 is very similar to the 15, you have to go back to the 13 with the old style motor mount, that was a much better club car and worked in all conditions, maybe not quite as good on high grip asphalt and carpet like the like's of Volker race at. Verdict is still out on the new car will have to wait till I find out more.

Judging (only) from the one sneak preview picture, a conversion kit seems a little strange to me, as it seems that most of the parts are new.

...or maybe they just print "Conversion Kit" on half of the kit boxes
