Any of you guys run the RPX esc? If so how does it perform? Also do you have part numbers for spare fans for it?

To me the power band is much smoother on the RPX compared to the Hobbywing v3.1
A few guys at our local track who made the switch from HW to RPX prefer the yokomo esc. I broke 3 fans already due to some crashes. I do not recommend the factory fans...any other 30mm fan will work. Banzai hobby do sell the fans separately

Does anybody have any setup tips for the bd7 2015 racing in a 17.5 class at a low grip track? I have put a few different carpet setups on and they all seem to just have not enough traction in the rear specifically. The track we run at is 5 carpet lengths so its pretty big so that doesn't help with laying traction down in a club racing night but even at smaller tracks its lacking traction. I have tried raising the rear camber link 2mm and playing with the shocks and quite a few other things with no major success. My car is completely stock with no upgrades but I'm looking to purchase them soon. But untill then I want the car to be better setup.

Ran my yok 15 17.5 for the roar regionals on carpet track. After getting my setup dialed I was a B main killing machine! No kidding, had a horrible qualifying, spent too much time with motors. After the dust settle and start of B main car was running mid A mains race times. FMC, SLF short shocks, X brace up front with rear removed is what I settled with.

if the traction is really low, perhaps run softer oil, like a 30 wt both front and back, and run lots of droop. probably 3mm front and back.
shock position, one down from the top, rear shock position one up from the bottom on shock tower.

use long links for both front and back turnbuckles, using the inner hole on the buckheads. you will need a 2mm shim with the silver short ball head, so it won't dig into the plastic drivetrain holders.
