I have a quick question, I'm currently running AE cars & I'm thinking over changing brands to the BD7.

Question: Do I get the 15' model or wait and see if there is a 16' version?

I can't make up my mind, any help/opinions appreciated!

Cheers,

As far as I know, there will be a 2016 version (probably coming in december) - how much difference it will make, or how much it will cost... no one knows yet.

The 2015 is still a great car though, so if you want a new car now, there should be nothing wrong with a 2015 - if you can wait for 2-3 months you may as well wait for the 2016 version.

Unless your AE is completely useless, I would wait for the '16. It's only a couple of months wait, anyway.

Default Thanks Guys

Thanks guys, that was the idea....Until yesterday when I got to drive a 15' - ordered one last night

Got the Floating servo, dual front driveshafts, Short arms, Ti turnbuckles and all the springs - anything else I could need to upgrade? Keeping in mind its only going to be used for Stock (21,5T blinky)...

I like the low friction shock balls. They are really smooth and less sticky under a load. Plus they are ultra light (about 3-4 low frictions shock balls is the same weight as one steel shock ball )

Short shocks are somewhat popular in stock, but I feel like every time I run them... I can get the longer shocks to be faster. That is just my opinion though.

Has anyone noticed that the rear track on their BD7 is less than the from standard by 2+ mm. I have and wonder if I have something wrong in my car.

That's by design and has been discussed earlier. A lot of other cars are doing this to mimic the Yokomo geometry.

Does kimbrough spur gears fit on the bd7?

Also, is a 4.0 fdr too slow for 17.5?

I only have a 100t spur and a 50t pinion. Is it better to get a larger pinion or smaller spur?

For 17.5 blinky I generally used a 96 spur and started a final ratio around 3.8 for indoors carpet. As for Kimbrough, I don't remember if they allow 4 hole bolt pattern or not, but looking at pictures I would say No they don't work. I would stick with the Panaracer or Xenon spurs.

Ok. They don't have 96

Would Robinson racing work? Or any other brand?

Do they have 98 or 94? I don't know which version of Robinson. Do they have HPI spurs? They are basically Panaracer spurs.
