I have a 2015 BD7, on the initial build there was noticeable play on the front left lower arm whereas the play on the right side was just right. I think I ended up using a 0.1/0.2 shim.

It's not the BD7 forum. Most forums are like that.

Have a look in the TRF forums (any of them) and you'll see 90% of the discussion is about screws and washers.

The reason is everybody has an idea or opinion about things like that, not many have any idea about setup, etc.

I just lined up the '15 chassis with the '14, all of the mounting holes are the same EXCEPT for the bulkhead holes.

2015 is on top of the '14 in the pic. '15 bulkheads are not as deep.

Post #4855 and a few posts before that, same question that he asked. A quick search would've answered his question. You're incorrect, people do help each other out and answer questions when they can, especially concerning setups. I gotta say you're a pretty annoying dude.

'14 and '15 chassis doesn't line up, the distance between the bulkhead screws are different.

The photograph(s) was/were taken from RCWorld Magazine. The other photographs showed Masami driving the BD7 mini.

Once again I read every page including those posts. I got my bd7 second hand from a guy in China and it came with two extra chassis (an aluminum and cf which I'm sure are both 2014 yok manufactured chassis).

The chassis installed on my car has the same exact lines as the 15 chassis so I was confused as to what chassis I actually had. I've read plenty of misinformation online before and two posts about a topic isn't always enough to be assured of anything, which is why I posted a detailed questions including pics of the chassis in question.

So the next logical step is to check your bulkheads and compare them since they are not interchangeable with the chassis'. The easiest way to tell between the 2014 and 2015 is to look at the shock towers, do they have a stabilizer nub going into the tower from the bulkhead?

2014 = 1 screw and a nub per side mating the shock tower
2015 = no nub on bulkhead, only 1 screw per side mates the shock tower
*15 also has the X-brace mounting holes.

Are the 2015 kits supposed to come with the floating servo mount as standard?

I purchased a kit earlier this year and the box was opened by Amainhobbies and resealed to include the mount. I bought another kit last week and the mount was not included.

Standard kit doesn't come with floating servo mount. It is up to the individual retailer's discretion whether to include it or not
