What a disappoint in the race. It is Saturday and I still have not run a race yet so much for following a schedule. Also what about the rule, under 20 cars no class. The minis have 3 cars. It is going to be a long day!

It sure is great to watch guys from overseas drive there cars.
What's the difference between 1/12 masters, 1/12 stock, 1/12 superstock?

Didn't know there was a 20 car minimum. Where was this posted?

Ok, found it on the US Champs site, 20 min for VTA.

12th scale masters is for the "master" driver, guys who are 35 years of age or old and it uses a 17.5 turn motor to keep the field level. 12th scale stock is basically the same as 12th masters but anybody can run it. 12th superstock is 13.5 turn motors.

I think only the VTA had a "minimum number" for the class.

I went up today to check it out. I was a bit underwhelmed with the number of heats/cars for the "prestige" and history of this event. Figured there would be a LOT more big-name TC and 12th-scale guys. Only a two-day show for what should be the biggest (or at least second-biggest) indoor carpet race?

As for "getting the show going", talking to a couple of people, I understand they had computer issues again this year? One guy said it's been like four years in a row that they've had the same problem before getting things going for qualifying.

Sure would like to see some oval added to this event

Ian, sent you a PM.

Oval was tried 2 years ago with a low turnout. Last year it was cancelled to lack of entries. Maybe since the schedule was changed with the start time moved up more oval racers would attend.

Also, is there any live video feed to watch the races or rc50 there taking pics?

Its a good thing that the rule was only in place for VTA or else there wouldnt be any MOD Sedan, Superstock Sedan, MOD 12th scale or stock 12th scale what a shame to see this. Heck it would only be VTA, WGT and Stock Sedan. This is very telling as to what people in the US like to race. MOD is just about gone at this point on carpet anyway. Maybe its time to rethink offering this as a class at the national level IDK. Best luck Ian Im sure you are still having a great race we can only hope that everything turns around.
