Is there a bar in the new venue?? The Cougar Bar on Saturday night was one of the traditions of the old place. Good or Bad....it was always good entertainment!

There is a bar. At the events previously held at the hotel, it didn't carry quite the same ambiance as the "Menopause Lounge" though.

Our room block has been extended until the week before the race. Make sure to book soon to prevent losing your spot to those evil Steeler's fans.

So are we allowed to wear a beer hat while driving?

Yes, but only during practice. Not sure what good practice will be if you can't remember any of it though.

I'm looking at running F1 and mini just don't have the funds to sign up yet. Room is booked and can't wait to get their! Also have two other friend that are planning on running F1, mini and one VTA.

Didn't find your entry on that one either.

With advent of online registrations the trend for many events has become "sign-up at the last minute". (I have been guilty of this as well, even though I know better.) Unfortunately, that makes for pretty short entry lists up until shortly before the event. I get a ton of PM's from people assuring me that they're coming, and that they're running certain classes, but without the entries to back these claims up, I'm very reluctant to post a list.

These races are difficult to put on to say the least. The logistics involved with T-shirts, trophies, venue related issues etc. are all much easier when race management has a solid idea of how many entries they will have. These days the convenience of online entry has made that more difficult for many events.

VTA turnout currently looks very good. Mini is looking promising, but still needs some entries. F1 is slow, but again, I've seen many people say they're planning on running the class. Just need to get the entries in.

I'm excited this is my first time going to indoor champs. Due to the new schedule I can go. Will send my entry form in soon.
