Questions?? MMP w/2200kv in an 1/8 On Road?

Well I have 2 options here:

I just bought a DM-1 Spec E with plans on using a new MMM/2200kv combo I can order. (Vehicle RTR weight is around 14-15 pounds)

I run this combo in my bullet proof Emaxx and my RC8Be with no complaints.

OR use my backup MMP I have and just buy the Neu-Castle 2200kv 1515 motor and run that ESC instead of the MMM.

Some of our track off road guys in the ebuggy class use the MMP for weight savings as compared to the MMM.

LHS guys just say the MMP will heat up a lot faster and since ebuggy guys are only running 7 min mains heat is not that big of an issue to them.

My DM-1 Spec E will be a parking lot basher running 15-20 min at a time. So I'm assuming a bigger ESC (MMM) should be the way to go right?
