Don't start yet!! My plane leaves in a couple of hours.

"Hey Marc Reinhart and Andy Moore, I will work on your cars in a minute, I need to go scrub Dirla's car in!"

Or not.

I see Hupo is running off-road this weekend so I guess he is going to miss the 1/12th portion this time?

Well, we made it. We have spent most of the day getting just hanging out because of jet lag. It's 1am here in Amsterdam (6hrs ahead of EST). We are leaving for the track tomorrow at 8AM to cut tires and register for the race.

I will try and post updates of the Roar drivers during the day, as long as I am not thrashing to get my stuff working.

Yes because in 2005 there was a P main at the snowbirds in stock foam TC.

Show me a Rubber race in the USA that has even come close to that.

Speed of the cars and the increased damage to cars with the speed as well as the learning curve as the speed increased is what killed onroad.

500 dollar cars didnt help. The nail in the coffin was the 2006 IIC. People started running 4 magentas on foam Tc which in turn caused everyone to have to cut their tires down to nothing which increased the handling of the cars greatly but decreased the amount of runs from 4-6 per set of tires to 1-2. And at big races 1 run and done.

That is a major factor in onroad nearly dying in the USA.

People said brushless would revive it but now unless major races become handout spec motors it will happen again.

Doesn't hurt my feelings at all.

I'm just glad IFMAR has seen the light, and they run 12th scale on Carpet, and TC on Asphalt. Just as Larry stated, when FOAM was king, races were HUGE. Now not so much.

Thats true...cost is still a factor, but we as racers keep buying the $500 cars..... Good luck to all the racers!
