The track will probably slow down. Towards evening, the times could be faster again.

C'mon Paul! You can do it!

I hate this two tire rule... It pretty much just gives everyone 2 real qualifiers...

You see a lot of fast racers pulling up saving tires and I'm sure this is boring to watch.....;(

+1
I agree that the two tire rule absolutely handicaps the world's best R/C racers. It is like having a rule for an Olympic Archer that he (or she) must use only one arrow. They would have to walk up to the target and pull their one arrow out each time to re-use it for the next round.

On another note ... can somebody tell me how many cars will be on the starting grid for the TC A-Mains?

Some drivers sat out the first round so they would still have two new sets while everyone else would be down to one.

That makes for exciting racing. What is supposed to be the worlds most important race drivers volunteering to sit out.

But it's all in the name of an even playing field! I mean come on... we all know that buying an extra 4 sets of tires is going to be the deciding factor in whether or not all the non-factory drivers attend the Worlds, right???

It's tactic play, it's wild and risky to sit out, but maybe it will return more.
Normally it can be a two or three men show, only point to watch is to see if or when the fastest one makes mistakes. Now it has a bit more story to tell.

On Red RC. The arrival of the rain could have serious repercussions for a number of leading drivers as they have lost the opportunity to capitalize on the fresh set of dry tyres they had saved from earlier in the day.
