I spun up my 2 new Roar stocks on the MM the other week, best results out of both was 41,170 @ 16 amps. dam that thing was quick..

The other day my mate pointed put that if you use the motor run feature, and put the liitle cap on the motor and stick it in you can see what revs and amp draw your motor is pulling at what ever voltage your using..

I have had the damn thing for 6 months and my mate who doesnt have one pointed that out

HI Guys, on a monster stock 40,015rpm drawing 14 amps!!

Purple red springs, 4503 brushes.

Binary 2mag record I have so far is 44,570rpm drawing 16amps!!
red red spring with Putnum brushes and trailing edges off.

This is on the Much more motor checker. These figures have been also checked on my friends one and both motor checkers have the same readings give or take 300rpm

Yep, Putnum brushes are great. I have better numbers on my motor master now.
I will check if numbers on motor master and results on the track are relevant.

Just checked two monsters in CTX 4 cell mode

1- 22000 rpm's with about 12 amps purple and red springs and 767 brushes
2- 20000 rpm's with about 9 amps red and green springs with "F" brushes

Both motors were freshly cut and broken in for 300 secs at 3 volts before testing.

I've got some greeen and blue putnams I will install these later this evening and retest.I seriously doubt I'm going to see 40,000 rpm's though.I will double check my #'s on a TD45,it will tell the real story.

Just got my motor master in the mail today. Since everyone is happy testing, figure I'll give it a try. Here is The Team Br00d Monster Stock that I wont Regional 11 1/12th stock with. I probably had 3 runs on this same set of brushes.

6-cell mode
14.67 peak amp
36330 peak rpm

4-cell mode
7.84 peak amp
21960 peak rpm

Putnam Greens, tweaked green + and regular green negative.

It's fun to talk about numbers and what not... but at the end....

The Track Is My Dyno!!!

I own both. There is no comparison. The GFX simply just break the motor in, tell you the amp draw, you set the voltage and time, that's it. The only other thing you can do is to run a lathe.

The MM just pretty much does every of the above plus add a lot more features to it.

One more thing is that you can't adjust voltage while the GFX is breaking a motor in, but you can do that with the MM. For $160, it's a little bit spendy, but I got a used one for a little over $100, and it works perfectly so it's worth it in my mind.

The MM is just trick.
