Default gearchart.com new feature

I've added a new feature to gearchart.com, those of you with Competetion Electronics GFX chargers can now upload your battery cycle graphs and create charts that show your battery performance and your voltage at every minute from start to 5 minutes (will be adding the ability to change then number of minutes later on, but sine I only run 5 minute classes, that's what we start with ). If you have Microsoft Excel 2000 or greater you can download the chart and then sort it as you please. This does require you to create a login so that the website can download your charts into "your area". Check it out at http://www.gearchart.com ...here's a screenshot of a chart created from my uploaded graphs http://www.gearchart.com/images/batchart.jpg ...and this is gotten to by uploading GFX graphs like these http://www.gearchart.com/batchart/samplechart.htm

...hopefully ya'll find this usefull!!

Go to www.gearchart.com ..and either click on "Login" up on top, or click on "Battery Chart" ...it will end up at the same web page since you're not logged in, on the login page click on the "Create Account" button.

Dude, that's pretty awesome!! Thanks Javier!!! Now I just gotta get a darn GFX instead of borrowing one..lol.

I'm sure you are working on this software whenever you can so I would like to make a request if I may...

How about being able to overlay the curve from one pack to another or maybe even up to 5 or 6 packs all with different color asterisks?

(wishful thinking)- could you write some flash script to make the charts nice and pretty and be able to overlay different packs or the same packs but different times/dates? LOL- if you're gonna shoot high, may as well aim for the stars right? lmao

You mean something like this:

...yea I'll eventually build that in to the website itself ...I create that chart once I downloaded the data to excel using excel's charting object ....but not everyone has excel, and not everyone knows how to use that charting chingadera :-)

Yepo ...I'll have all that eventually :-)

Harshy, you're such a geek! Will this work with my lowly T35?

You going to make it to the last big rug race?

Advil ... No ...I couldn't get my T35 to output the charts to hyperterminal ...I guess it will only print, probably no handshake in the serial port for the T35?? ...I picked up a GFX cause I wante those discharge curve charts ...my initial idea was that I was gonna just capture the output into hyperterminal and save the file and use that chart, but DAMN it was a beee-otch to read, plus multiple pages ...so I made the chart creator ...I'm racing SWR on 03/05 (unless weather prohibits it) ...then next "set" of races is all the norcal TC challenge races.

C_O_jones ...thx

I used to use Hyperterminal with my T35. Oh well, perhaps I can convince the better half that I need a new charger to go with my new dyno. LOL I am betting that it won't work. LOLOLOLOL

Perhaps if I tell her that it will make her car faster....heheheheheheh.

Advil ...if you can capture the chart and it looks like this:

http://www.gearchart.com/batchart/samplechart.htm

Then it should work fine, I just need an ascii file in that format ...if it's some other format email it to me and I can probably make the website "smart enough" to figuyre out if it's a T35 or GFX chart. ..I just coudn't get my T35 to send a chart to hyperterminal ..although in retrospect I probably didn't try very hard since I wanted a GFX anyhow

....if you need any help in "talking her into it" ask STLNLST for one of his "mood music" CD's

I'll check it out tonight. I remember seeing that chart.

I'll have to pass on the STLNLST mood music CD. I have heard it comes with complimentary hand lotion. That just can't be a good sign.
