For those of you that did not make it last year or this is going to be your first major/traveling race, understand we already know Dave Johnson is going to win VTA. So don't stress coming trying to win it all. But the awesome things about this event is 1. you get to watch Dave Johnson drive around the track. He is so perfectly smooth and hits every single mark nearly every single time. That alone is worth the trip. 2. You get to listen to Myron explain how much faster he is than Dave Johnson but because he is the promoter he is just unable to get out there and show him up is fun to listen to. 3. The people you will meet and all the hanging out is one of the best things about this race. When Myron promises you are going to have a blast no matter what place you come in he means it and I believe EVERYONE with the exception of that dude that started the VTA Woes thread will agree. I think in the spirit of VTA this Nationals is way more laid back than any other type I have been to. Get ready guys it's going to be awesome (again except for Chris who will find a way to have a bad time). Good luck everyone, can't wait to meet you all. I will be the guy stuck listening to Myron explain why it would be wrong for him to win his own race, or why VTA is better than anything else, or why I should not be running 1/12 and running VTA or something else. Just please if you see me stuck come save me.

Damn is it Fri yet?

If there are no jaco's available what would the tire be. We have switched to the sweep 32. Any chance that would be used.

Dirla just texted me. He has 50 sets of them that just came in today! So Jaco comes through and is the only tire to be used. You can bring your own new in package tires as well if you already have some as long as they are Jaco Blues.

The final objective is close, fair, wheel-to-wheel racing for all. All decisions of the race promoter or track owner are final.
