Have any of you guys ran on carpet with it yet. I currently running a Cmg on carpet and would like to get the BD. I can't decide on whether to get the BD, RDX, or the JRX-S. Hopefully we will have a permanent asphalt track to run on soon. Thanks for any opinions.

The first link has the most free spinning bearings.
Randy is right the Yokomo will be a little cheaper I think they go for $99.99 so if you wait another week or two they should be out.
But since I helped Boca get all the part numbers for them to make a kit they offered me a discount so I will take them up on it.
I know $165.00 for bearings is hard to swallow.
But they are the best ABEC rated bearings out there.
I think the Yokomo are rated at ABEC 5 or 7 where as the Boca's are rated ABEC 1 which is the highest level of quality and roundness. Just some trivial knowledge.
I figure I need all the help I can get...LOL
Take Care & GOD Bless,
Stephen <><

I thought the higher the rating the better the bearing?

I've been running mine on carpet since I received it. The car handles way better than my CGM. You can't go wrong with this car. It corners so hard and fast; just last night my car was running .8 seconds faster per lap than the second fastest car on the track. I was running on a very tight technical track, every corner I would pull further and further away from the pack, it handles that well.

I'll second that. Go for a skate on your rollerblades with ABEC 7s then switch to ABEC 1s. There is a very big difference in speed & drag. I believe there are bearings rated better than 7, but they are either really hard to find, or really expensive

I looked around the 'net, and read some ABEC explainations, and yes, the higher the ABEC rating, the more precise the bearing is in manufacturing, tolerances, and all that good stuff. And the unique thing is that its all on the roller-blade, and skateboard sites. Every sport has the need for speed.

I used BOCA in the past and was very dissapointed in the quality. I've been using the ceramics from RC4Less and like them a lot. I believe they have a grade 7 rating and they usually sell full kits for $100

Thats what I thought.. I know the Boca's are really good bearings though, so I really doubt they are only an Abec 1 rating..

Hi Guys,

Those of you that are interested in the BD, we are now taking pre-order for the next batch, that is due to arrive end of the month/early next month

Yokomo MR-4TC BD Pre-Order

Also, just an update on the spool for the BD. Production for the spool will start on Monday of next week and if all goes well, everything will arrive first week of May, so we will have them well before the Reedy Race for you guys

I just fitted the aluminum rear dogbones onto the Yokomo outdrives, and there is no play at all in them. This combo should outlast everything out there. Perfect fit.
