can you picture an SDW that is belt driven? If you can then you know what the car will look like This car is not to replace the SD line of cars but to give another option to those people that a belt drive car feels better for.

I'm getting one just for the fact that I mainly race modified and this car will probably be better suited for that. If I was only racing stock or 19T then I would just stick with the SD since that transmission is a bit better for those classes. The cars are going to use the same suspension, the drivetrain is going to be the only thing different.

Well I for one am really looking forward to the new belt Yokomo. I've got a bit of a soft spot for the Yokes, they just feel better designed and engineered than the other brands.

I've never really got on with the shaft cars.

Shame I haven't raced in 2 and a half months though...

Yeah i love the yoks.

Even though my SD does not go so well as previous cars i dont want to sell it or get antoher car. It just looks right as in the way things are designed, they are very simple.

Plans are to take my SD and upgrade to the worlds for stock motor racing and use the new yok for 19T and Mod.....I think I will try them both for Stock just to see what kind of lap times each purduces. If history repeats it self....We might have the best belt car out there.......Now all we need is a US sponcered driver. I saw Billy Easton @ SoCal wielding the JRSX and he was real Fast wonder if he should have waited a few more months to switch teams? I guess there are politics in everything....

What price ranges are the early guesses going to be for the belt car? Conversion for the SD to worlds specks? Thoughts on the new cars for carpet?

Thanks...I know lots of questions...I too have been a yokomo fan for a long time and want to get back into one.
