That's just insane! Must be like trying to run 12 scale sometimes.

I dont think any mainstream manufacturers do Delrin outdrives,

it has been mentioned earlier in the thread that a company called Excel did delrin outdrives but i have no idea where to find any...

I think we should put it to Steve at speetech to make some.. i know they are making an alloy spool so i see no reason why they could not turn out some delrin outdrives.....

Steve, MAKE SOME DELRIN OUTDRIVES!

nm...

Anyway,

First time out with the car and I TQ with about a lap over the field at a Trophy race in SC. Car felt real smooth, but I believe it could have been even Faster.

Does anyone know the approximate weight of the kit oil... went to 40f 30r with the kit setup (minus swaybars) and had a real bad on power push. Was wondering about putting the stock oil in and running that.

No set up sheets yet, the setup was as built from kit instructions, changed front shock oil to 500 and added 1 deg of front kick up. The other car had the spacers under the suspension mounts removed and 1 deg of kick up and 1 deg of anti squat. The front shocks 2nd hole on the shock tower from the outside.

Last year I think it was John Bull added blades on the universals from a Corrally I think, this cut down any wear on the outdrives. Maybe he will see this and explain it again?
