i don't remember all the details but it worked. its been a few years and i'm old and don't remember. thats why i said just take your time and look it and it will come to you.

btw, to get the little slop outta the arms i use motor shims. trinitys assortment pack gives you different thickness

I'll take a look at it, but I just dont see how it wouldnt slip if you are pulling a piece out and pressing one in, tolerances will expand, and the first time the throttle rips, I'd think it would slip.

well now that i got a headache from thinking about over and over, i believe on the yr4 there was a shoulder on the pulley and i drilled though the shoulder and used a long enough set screw that it "pinned the pulley to the bushing while also holding it to the cross shaft. i haven't got a bd (yet) so not sure if there is enough room for that.

got my BD this morning and just finished it up, very nice. It seems to be perfectly balanced left to right with a gp3300 pack in it. It's supposed to rain all weekend so I won't even get a chance to run it for a couple of days

Right i think the solid axle thing should be possible,

Heres how, depending on where the hole for the pin is in relation to the bearing you could just drill through both the pulley and bearing.

Tap the hole and find a grub screw that will sit flush or just below where the belt sits. make the end of the grub screw chamfered into a point and hopefully it will sit in the pin hole.

This in theory, should lock all 3 parts together, and if done properly should stand up to a modified motor.....

I do not have the car at the minute so i could be totally wrong.....

Ok, i was just looking at the pictures of the pulley when i noticed that the front links used to change roll center are actually used as the king pin... i also noticed that the other end of the link seems to fit onto an alloy part, there does not seem to be any way of changing the roll center???? is this just me being blind again?

the stock setting for the front has a small spacer under the front inside ballstud, by altering the spacing up or down of that ball stud you can change your roll center.
